Five Cubed is an Australia based environmental Indigenous consultancy specialising in natural resource management.
Originally founded in 2012 as Indigenous Marine Resource Consulting Australia (IMRCA) to provide environmental consultancy services to a diverse range of clients across Australia including local,state and federal government departments, natural resource management groups, universities, and other related sectors.
We understand where our skills, expertise, and knowledge fit in with our client's brief to facilitate navigating complex legislation and regulatory requirements.
We draw on more than twenty years of national and international experience and partnerships to take you through the most complex of problems to develop a solution that is right for you.

Owner / Director
Stan Lui
Tibau Stanley Lui (Stan) is a Torres Strait Islander from Erub (Darnley Island) in the Kemer Kemer Miriam (top eastern Torres Strait). A graduate of James Cook University and worked in managerial roles with both State and Commonwealth Agencies in Fisheries Management, Aquaculture Development, and Natural Resource Management for two decades.
Stan is an accomplished Senior Executive with a proven track record leading efficient, innovative programs that achieve agency objectives. With strategic and operational experience, Stan is highly skilled at identifying issues, developing policy, and managing risks to achieve agency goals.
Stan has been a member of various high-level boards and steering committees and has been appointed for a second term on Minister Plibersek’s Indigenous Advisory Committee. Stan participates in the meetings of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity as a senior member of the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity.
Stan also holds commercial fishing licences in the Torres Strait Spanish mackerel, coral trout and tropical rock lobster fishery and holds memberships on two Registered Native Title Body Corporations.

Samantha Coates
From a previous corporate background spanning fifteen + years in Melbourne, Samantha has represented organisations such as Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA), Mobil Oil Australia, McPhersons Consumer Products, and the Heat Group at a state and national level in the capacity of account and business manager.
Samantha completed a university certificate in Business Management through Deakin Prime while employed by CCA and is skilled in negotiation, business management, business planning, business reviews and brand development / marketing.
A career pivot after relocating to Queensland in 2016 saw Samantha transition to employment as a strong community and social services professional with a Diploma of Community Services focused on Youth Work from Charlton Brown, a Brisbane based private RTO. Samantha has also held roles in the not-for-profit sector working for Life Without Barriers, Brisbane Youth Service, and the Department of Youth Justice.
Samantha is a recent graduate of Charles Darwin University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Eco Cultural Resource Management.
